DAVID STANLEY

• Born in 1946. David Stanley was a member of the NAPA.
• Council member of the MAFA
• David's paintings are more about color and structure, not illustration.
• He mainly uses acrylic paints.

ARTIST STATEMENT

• My favorite thing to work with is water colors.
• I also think i have a strong point in yarn project.
• My second favorite thing to work with is clay.
• I think im better with cartoon figures, not anything realistic.

PERSONAL BEST ARTWORK

• My penguin made out of twisteez
• Created: 05/19/14
• Materials used: twisteez.
• I made an egg shaped ball
• Then i added on feet, eyes, and a mouth with pliers.

OUTSIDE OF ART..

• Im creative when I plan things to do
• The area i want to improve in is realistic drawling
• My favorite project was the clay because its more hands on
• Least favorite was my portrait draw,inf because it was the hardest
• I have improved in not doing something because its easy, but challenging myself
