TYPES OF AQUATIC ECOSYSTEMS

  • ecosystems are freshwater, estuaries ,
  • and marine ecosystems .

FRESHWATER

  • That ecosystem can be found in rivers,
  • Lakes, and wetlands.

MARINE

  • Marine ecosystems are found
  • in the oceans.

WETLANDS

  • Is an area of lands that is
  • saturated or soaked whit water
  • for a least part of the year.

RIVERS AND STREAMS

  • Water moves in one direction in a stream.
  • A large stream is call a river

ESTUARY

  • An estuary is a partially includes body
  • of water formed where a river flows
  • into an ocean

LAKES AND POUNDS

  • Lakes and pounds are bodies of
  • water surrounded by land lakes are
  • larger than pounds.

ANIMALS IN FRESHWATER

  • Amazon river dolphin
  • American alligator

MARINE ECOSYSTEM

  • Are salt water ecosystems,they cover
  • more than 70% of earths surface.Marine
  • ecosystems are found in the coastal.

IN AND ALONG COASTAL OCEANS

  • include the intertidal zone and the neritic zone
  • The interdidal zone is the land between high and law
  • tides that includes beaches and rocky shores.The
  • neritic zone is the underwater zone

IN OPEN OCEANS

  • The open ocean includes all
  • surface waters down to a depth
  • of about 2,000 mts.

IN DEEP OCEANS

  • The deep ocean has the cooldest
  • and darkest conditions.Deeps oceans
  • ecosystem include those in abyssal
  • zone.
