Streams and Rivers: Plant Adaptations

Plants evolved to make their roots deep into the ground so they won't drift

Animal Adaptations: The animals have evolved enough to make hooks or suction cups so they can stay on rocks or branches.

Marine Ecosystems

Estuary, intertidal zone, neritic zone, surface zone, and deep zone.

Estuary: Plants such as algae have adapted to the waters where fresh water and salt water meet. Since the numerous plants are there a lot of animals come here to breed, these could include worms, crabs, clams, and fish.

Intertidal Zone: Plants didn't really adapt that much but the animals learned to burrow into the ground when the tides fall.

Nertic Zone: The plants can still do the process of photosynthesis because sunlight can still reach it. The animals have adapted to an almost all algae or other animal diet

Surface Zone

This is practically the same as neritic zone.

Deep Zone

Little to no plants live here but animals adapted to the dark by glowing.
