OUR AQUAPONICS SYSTEM

Abstract
We want to see if the basil will grow better or the lettuce in our aquaponics system.

Problem Statement
Which plant will grow better in a aquaponics system?

Hypothesis
The Basil will grow better in a aquaponics system then Lettuce.

VARIABLES

• Fish-dependent
• Plant-dependent
• Jar-independent
• Cups-independent

MATERIALS

• 1 gravel
• fish
• water
• 2 Cotten ball
• 2 Jar
• 2 empty yogurt cup
• 2 Seed,plant
• 1 Water declare natter
• 1Water plant
• Rocks

PROCEDURES

• We bought two fish
• Then we got a jar then we rinsed it out
• We add the right amount of water and put dechlorinator and waited 5 to 10 minutes
• Then we placed the Rock and water plant then the fish
• We got a small empty yogurt cup and put holes in the bottom of cup then placed in the jar
• Then put rock in the empty yogurt cup then we put the Cotten ball on top of the rocks
• Then we planed Basil and Lettuce seed then watered it.

CONCLUSION

• Our conclusion was that the
• Basil grew 2.4cm and the
• Lettuce did not grow at all.
• Our hypothesis was correct
