EARLY LIFE

  • Apranik: daughter of elder
  • Apranik was a Persian Sassanid
  • Sassanid-relating to a dynasty that ruled Persia from the early 3rd century AD
  • Her father was Piran (the great General of King Yazdgird III)
  • Born 635 C.E.

  • The Arabs attacked Persia, Apranik commanded a major battalion against the invaders.
  • Battalion-a large body of troops ready for battle

EARLY LIFE

  • Apranik grew up around military and that made her a tomboy.
  • Apranik was her fathers right hand
  • Apranik Started to love military in teenage years
  • During teenage years is when she started to realize that military was what she was good at.

ADULT LIFE

  • Apranik started to be a soilder after she finished her education
  • Apranik climbed the ranks through the years
  • Apranik went from a petty officer to a full comander in the persian army
  • Apranik was a huge inspiration to her troops

ADULT LIFE

  • During Apraniks time in being a commander the worst thing happened
  • -The Arab bandits attacked Persia's south borders
  • The Roman Empire had weakened Persia's economy
  • Apranik started a campaign against the Arab invaders
  • -Apranik started the campaign because she knew what she was doing was not working

DEATH

  • Apranik acted as a battery charger and chose to fight with her soldiers until the end
  • She chose to be cut to pieces by the Arab sword
  • Eventually she became a legend
  • Apranik lives in every Persian female warriors heart
  • Apranik was in the Persian Resistance Hall of Fame
