I had a hard time finding any negative uses for using the iPad in the classroom. Then our whole internet system went down across the district. It was the worst of times.

There are many amazing uses for the iPad in the classroom. These are just a few that I primarily use it for.
Screen Share
Screen share is amazing, when my smart panel behaves, I can use various apps to enhance my students learning. My favorite right now, is using clever to access all of our materials.
SINGLE LEARNING HUB
In order to be able to use the iPad as an interactive tool, I have to take a screenshot of the material and use the edit tool to write on the iPad. I’m sure there’s a better way, however this works great for me AND my kiddos love it!
SCIENCE CURRICULUM
This is an example of how I use our materials. This is our science curriculum.

This is an example of a student work page in twig. We can discuss the questions as a group and I can fill in the responses. I monitor students responses and I am not having to go back and forth between the students and the smart board.
