  • Army Corps.
  •  the ANZAC'S Landed on a cove.  
  • The cove is now named ANZAC Cove.

  • The Poppy is a famous symbol of ANZAC. 
  • Flanders field was found with lots of poppys. 
  • Flanders field is a battlefield. 
  • The Poppy was the first plant to grow in the mud.
  • The poem Flanders Field was written by John Mcrae.

This is the ode

  • they shall grow not ole as we that are left grow old.
  • age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
  • at the going down of the sun and in the  morning we will 
  • remember them.

ANZAC is important BECAUSE...

  • It is a special time to remember all the brave soldiers 
  • Who fought for New Zealand or who are still serving our .  
  • country in the army navy or air force
