Vivaldi came from a large family. His father was named Giovanni, and had five other siblings

Vivaldi's father taught him the violin, the instrument Vivaldi is best known for, but he also studied as a priest in Venice. Vivaldi is starting to has his own renaissance here in the 20-21st century because more and more people are finding his works that have not been found before

Vivaldi was named master of violin at Ospedale della Pieta and worked off and on there from 1703 to 1740. He also was a trailblazer for Bach and Mozart
