Vivaldi had violin lessons from his father. He then taught lessons to others before he studied to be a priest.

Vivaldi was born in Venice, Italy, he died in Vienna, Austria.

His father Giovanni was the one who got him started with music, and Giovanni was his musical influence who gave him is education.

When studying for priesthood, people called him il Prete Rosso, or The Red Priest.
