MANGA

• Manga is a comic like book made in japan
• They read from left to right
• It can be black and white or color
• It was first found in 1917 and is still found today
• Kanagaki robun and kawanabe kyosai first created it

• It reached the U.S. 1970's and 80's
• People are still reading it
• 漫画 this is the way they write manga in Japanese

• During ww2 many anime films were released
• By the military showing japan winning agents
• Enemy forces.

• Film industry ex: ponyo, grave of the fireflies, more to name

STUDIO GHIBLI

• Studio ghibli is an anime studio that makes anime films
• Examples: ponyo, grave of the fireflies, howls moving castle,
• Princes mononoke, porkoroso, spirited away, arrive try,
• From up on poppy hill, totoro, kiki's delivery service,
• Castle in the sky, whisper of the heart, even more to name.

• Chibi is Japanese slang for

• But it's not like chiisana
• But it's rather used as cute
• Chibi is used to style scenes that are cute

• It originated in the United States
• Stan lee was the former EIC
• Many of the comics were,X-Men,
• Iron Man,Hulk,Captain America and much more

Tezuka Osamu

• Anime does not have a specific creator
• Tezuka is often the most common name
• referred to anime. Osamu is also one of the
• irst to draw his characters in the big-eyed style, earning him the nickname 'the father of anime'.

AMERICAN ANIME

• Many American animes include
• Astro boy, teen titian and many others
• Astro boy ( later version) was created by David
• Bowers. The plot of the film takes place in the futuristic city of metro city
