CHEETAH

HABITAT

  • Cheetahs live in the savanna which is really warm, grassy, and dry
  • The abiotic factors that help the cheetahs are water, air/oxygen, the sun, clouds, and shelter

NICHE

  • Cheetahs hunt by there speed, they depend on hunting prey and avoiding predators as far as possible such as humans

POPULATIONS

  • The male cheetahs are mostly in a small group because they can take the advantage when there's a prey around, while the female cheetahs are mostly by themselves because they have to stay and protect the cubs
  • The limiting factors that can happen are food shortage, water shortage, and other predators

ENERGY

  • The cheetah is a consumer (carnivore)
  • Cheetahs mostly eat Dik Dik, Warthog, Springbok, and Kudu
  • The cheetah is a secondary consumer

BIOLOGICAL INTERACTIONS

  • Cheetah and Small Antelopes because cheetahs can take down a smaller antelope then a big one
  • Cheetahs avoid there competition because they're much smaller
  • Cheetahs are parasitism because hyenas steal there food which is a form of parasitism called kleptoparasitism

ADAPTATIONS

  • Speed, Huge lungs, Strong legs, and strong arteries
  • It helps the animal survive by letting them escape from predators and catching prey easily
