  • Boxer is a big tall strong horse
  • A dedicated servant, he promisies to work harder 6 times in the novel
  • Boxer compensates for each new problem by working longer hours

BOXER REPRESNTS

  • Boxer represents the people of Russia
  • During the Russian revolution the people of Russia were treared poorly and killed
  • The people still kept working hard and were loyal to their leader
  • Like the people of Russia, boxer was loyal and never took breaks or stoped untill he died

BOXER LETS OTHERS THINK FOR HIM

  • Boxer remembers the commandments and events but trusts Squealer
  • Because he is uneducated, he doesnt trust his memory
  • Rather than create conflict he wants to belive the best in others
  • He finds it easier to contribute with manual labor rather than thoughts
  • Boxer practicing his ABC's (http://abcnews.go.com) three was his limit
