COMMON BOTTLENOSE DOLPHIN

Habitat
The bottlenose dolphin lives in temperate and tropical oceans.the coastal ecotype live near harbors, bays, lagoons and other nearshore waters. The offshore ecotype live in pelagic regions going to the continental shelf and some atolls and ocean islands.

REASONS

  • It gives birth to live young
  • Torpedo body, paddle forelimbs

1. A dolphin may dive for up to 10 minutes
