ANGLES

DAMIAN ROMERO & ANDREW ALVARA

Angle: In geometry, an angle is the figure formed by two rays, called the sides of the angle, sharing a common end point. What are different types of angles? How to measure angles? What are some parts of an angle?

There are many different types of angles in geometry. One type of angle is the acute angle, which is an angle that is less than 90 degrees.Another type is the right angle, which is an angle that is exactly 90 degrees. Also, there is the abtuse angle. An abtuse angle is greater than 90 degrees, but less than 180 degrees.Lastly there is a reflex angle, which is an angle that is greater than 180 degrees.

How to measure angles. There are a couple ways to measure angles, the most common are is to use the protractor. It is also the easiest and best way to measure them. The red and black crossbar on a protractor should be lined up with the vertex of an angle. The vertex is where the two rays of an angle meet.

There are some different parts of an angle that are very important. The corner point of an angle is called the vertex. The vertex is the highest point,or top.Another part of an angle are the two strength sides that are called arms. The angle is the amount of turn between each arm.

Angles are everywhere in everyone's life.We all see angles all around us.Angles are very important in life. They are important for a number of reasons. For one, they display certain slopes and limits a particular numerical sequence can take.Second, they also determine certain sizes and slopes.Lastly angles are used for measurements to various industries.
