  • The significance is that three people
  • have been killed out of the ten and
  • three soldiers have been taken after
  • someone dies in the group of ten.

  • and it isolates the from the mainland.

  • is the uneasiness and doubt in the
  • characters and how they are all

  • 1)Seven Soldiers: symbolizes
  • the seven people still alive on
  • the island.
  • 2)The Storm: symbolizes them
  • being isolated from the world.

  • The author is trying to show the
  • doubt and little trust between
  • the characters because they
  • think one of the guests is the
  • killer.

  • 1)"Vera took the words out of his
  • mouth." means she said what he was
  • going to say.

  • when she was falling asleep she
