PARTHENON

  • Parthenon was located in Athens, Greece.
  • Parthenon was dedicated to the goddess Athena.
  • The Acropolis is the symbol of Athens.
  • The Acropolis is Athen's most famous landmark.

SOCIAL STRUCTURE

ANCIENT GREECE HAD FOUR LEVELS, UPPER CLASS, MIDDLE CLASS, LOWER CLASS, AND SLAVES.

ZEUS

  • Zeus was the king of the gods.
  • Zeus looked like a man in a white robe holding a lightning bolt.

ATHENA

  • Athena was the goddess of wisdom and military.
  • Athena looked like a woman warrior.
  • Athena was a daughter of Zeus.
  • Athens is named after her.
