  • The blue Nile and the white Nile are the two sources of the Nile river
  • Sand was a health threat for the Egyptian people because it got in their bread and gave them diseases
  • Lots of settlements were by the Nile river
  • People couldn't invade the settlements because they are surrounded by the water and desert
  • The Egyptian civilization was one of the four river civilizations

  • Framers,unskilled,and enslaved people were the two lowest classes
  • The king is the highest class
  • There are five classes in the Egyptian society
  • Merchants,craftsmen,and scribes were the third highest in the society
  • Nobles and priests were the second highest in the society

  • The four specialized skills that were needed to construct the pyramids were mathmatics,geometry,engineering,and architecture
  • The Egyptians built pyramids and they were used for houses and tombs
  • Egyptian kings were best known for the huge buildings that they built
  • The King's chamber was located in the center of the pyramid where it was hard to get to
  • The Egyptians thought the Pharos were gods

  • Hieroglyphics is a system of writing based on pictures
  • Egyptians made paper which made keeping records easier
  • Hieroglyphics were invented by the Egyptians
  • People today know about Pharos of ancient Egypt because of the written records that were left

  • The Egyptians believed that the PHARAOHS were gods
  • The pharaoh had complete power in Egypt
  • The Egyptians called their king a pharaoh
  • Egyptians believed that only males could be king
  • Hatshepsut was a female king but wore men clothes and a beard
