- You will analyze a text for persuasion and rhetoric
- Choose any 4 texts to analyze
- Use the analysis steps and write your answers on the foldable in your IN
- Compare with a peer and post in Canvas!

1. Download and print Foldable
2. Cut foldable along outside edge and dotted lines
3. Write title of text on the FRONT of each folded flap
4. Analyze the text on the INSIDE of the flaps
For Each Text:
- What is the claim being made? What is the writer trying to convince you to do?
- What is the evidence being presented to support that claim?
- What counterargument is presented? OR what counterargument COULD be presented?
- What "tricks" did the author use to convince you?
