We make yes/no choices from the moment we hear the alarm clock.

Most of us are still discovering when to say yes to reach our goals.

When the YES response becomes ingrained, it's powerful,
explosive,

it's like a mind grenade

(I got that from the movie "Yes Man")

In the film, Jim Carrey plays a banker,

who is in the habit of saying, "no."

"An attitude of yes is how you will be able to move forward in these uncertain times." ~Michael Hogan

During a commencement speech, University of Connecticut's Michael Hogan urged students to adopt an attitude of yes. Why? Students were turning down first jobs because they felt the available positions weren't good enough.

Are you willing to say yes to less than you expected?

Many have found their prospects so uninspiring, they've said, no, I don't want to work at that level. I'm packing up and going home! This is a major trend of the moment; and it doesn't bode well for paying off student loans. Or building a resume.
