The amphitheater of the JC Stennis Lock and Dam East Bank in Columbus is a convenient venue for small presentations and performances in the Golden Triangle area.

It is available with a reservation from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.

The East Bank of the JC Stennis Lock and Dam is easy to find.

From Hwy 45 North in Columbus, turn onto Wilkins-Wise Rd (Belk, Premier Ford, and Shell Gas).

Continue on Wilkins-Wise to the JC Stennis Lock and Dam East Bank and enter the park.

Make a right turn at the playground equipment, parking for the amphitheater is to an immediate right, more parking is available at the top of the hill.

The amphitheater is at the top of the hill.

It has a 28 by 18 foot stage, adequate for music groups, theatrical performances, business presentations, or organizational functions.

The bench seating can easily accommodate over 200 individuals with plenty of room to spare in the adjacent grass.

Ramps and safety lights lead to both parking areas.

The loading area is will lit and accessible to even large trucks.

Standard 120 volt electrical outlets are available anywhere in the amphitheater.

There is as much parking space as seating capacity.

The nearby pavilion with charcoal grills, picnic tables, restrooms, and playground area can also be included in a reservation of the amphitheater.

The Amphitheater is available with a reservation for only $30.

A reservation of both the amphitheater and pavilion with charcoal grills, picnic tables, playground, and restrooms is only $60.

Note: Restrooms are available without reservation to all park guests.
