PRESENTATION OUTLINE
Day 1
We were driving to Brazil to visit family and then we ran out of gas so we went out to find people in the Amazon but we found no one. So when we got back a gang of raccoons had hijacked our car
We had 8 feet of rope, a plastic tarp, a backpack, a water container, a flint stick, a utility knife, and this journal stuck alone in the Amazon. When we found a nice spot we then used a blue tarp and rope to build a lean to shelter. We cut the rope with our utility knife. We gathered some leaves for the night to make a bed and went to sleep.
Day 2
We woke up that morning and we grabbed all of our tools and went looking for food. We came across a river and we happened to have fishing equipment. After about 2 hours we caught two large peacock bass. We also used our water container to get fresh water from the river.We used our utility knife to make a trail so we didn't lose our shelter. We gathered pitch wood when we got back and used our knife to make shavings. Then we used our flint stick to start a fire. We got our fish and water and boiled it over the fire. We cooked the fish and boiled the chemicals out of the water. We had a good dinner and gathered some fresh leaves for a bed. Then we went to sleep.
Day 3
We woke up to dark clouds and we realized a big storm was on it's way. We knew we were going to have to stay in our shelter for the storm so we went and gathered fruit to eat until the storm passes. We had to gather extra leaves for a bed to sit on during the storm. We tightened our shelter so we would be protected from the rain. We sat in our shelter all day eating fruit and left over fish. For water we set out our container so it could catch rain water. We gathered lots of pitch wood to make shavings with for a fire. We put the fire under the shelter so it did not get wet. It was a cold and hard day and the storm kept on through the night but luckily we are heavy sleepers so we slept through the night.
Day 4
we survived a long and stormy night, although when we woke up the shelter had blown over with the strong winds. It didn't take long to rebuild so it ended up being fine. We woke up hungry so we went to get our extra fruit from the day before it turned out a rat had been around our shelter and ate it. We didn't want it to happen again so set up a trap to try to catch the rat. We used the rope we had left over and tied the rope to a tree and let it hang down with a piece of fruit tied to the end for bait. We were gonna catch some fish but we were warn out so we were gonna find fruit. And we had already had water from the rain the night before.When we got back we had found that we had actually caught a harpy eagle. Although we didn't catch the rat we did get dinner. We were tired so we went to sleep.
Day 5
We woke up looking flawless. Our hair was frizzy like a puffball because of the humidity. Squirrels even started nesting in our hair!!! After using sticks to comb out Emma's hair we went to fish. We got our fishing equipment and used our trail to go to the water. We filled up our bottle as usual and went on fishing. We felt something really big catch our line and it was a crab. Emma was looking rough and she was in the mood to be vicious so she bit the crabs head off and killed it. It was very large so it would tie us over. On our walk back we saw a tasty looking bird so Emma jumped in a tree like a tree frog and caught the bird in her mouth.So now we had a lot to eat. We got back, started a fire, ate our food and went to bed.
Day 6
Emma's fro was looking good as ever. But when we woke up we were cold and wet because the hard rain blue our shelter over. We rebuilt it, and set up our fire again to dry us off and warm us up. We were very tired because the rain kept us up all night so we ended up taking a long nap in front of the fire. Emma woke up to screaming because bailey had burned her foot on the fire. Emma got water to soothe her foot and tore a piece of tarp off to cover it up. Bailey had to stay at the shelter while Emma went to got food. She was gone for a while but when she got back she had caught nothing. But it ended up some mangos had fallen in her fro but she didn't know. So we washed them off and ate them. We also ate some left over crab. That tied us over because after we ate that we went to sleep.
Day 7
We woke up and realized we were sick and tired of being up in this joint do we decided we were going to try and get rescued. We got sticks and spelled out SOS. We sat there forever waiting for someone to notice. All of a sudden Miley Cyrus came out of nowhere on a ladder out of a helicopter and rescued us. We hopped on the ladder and went up to the helicopter. It ended up she was going to a concert for her world tour in Brazil. We got up to the helicopter and it turned out they had a huge seafood buffet so we stuffed ourselves. It was so good, and luckily snoop dog was the pilot of the helicopter because he brought us safely back home. Miley Cyrus gave us free tickets to every one of her concerts. We didn't even have to buy a new car because Miley let us have her pink Lamborghini!!!
