The allied powers in WW1 included Britain, France, Russia, Italy & the United States
They were also known as the triple entente.
the prime minister of Britain was replaced by David Lloyd George in 1916, during the war.
David was born in Manchester on January 17th, 1863. His father died when he was young so he was raised in Wales by his mother. He earned notoriety for his opposition to the Boer War.
In 1921 he secured the settlement that established the Irish Free State. He died in Wales on March 26th, 1945.
Woodrow Wilson was president of the United States all throughout the war. He was born on December 28th, 1856.
Wilson was a Princeton university student. He attempted to keep the United States neutral during World War I but eventually called to declare war on Germany in 1917.
