Io is the fourth largest moon in the solar system. It is one of Marses moon’s. It was discovered in 1610 by Galileo Galilei.

Io has a 1,131.9 mile radius. It is around the size of earths moon

Io has a collapsible atmosphere, which means when Io passes through Jupiter’s shadow it temporarily freezes and collapses

Io’s temperature can range from -202 degrees F Too 3,000 degrees . This crazy weather is why scientists often call Io “Celestial body of fire and ice.” Io also has no water
