PROJECT CONCEPT (L1,L2,L3)
As I have already created an on-line portfolio for myself,as part of my research module I will create an on-line portfolio for a creative within my class.
Alice Forester-Smith wants to create an on-line presence to for her illustration work. Working with Alice I will design and create a website for her to showcase her designs.

Why is it relevant you do the project in this way? (L1,L2,L3)

In order to create an on-line presence for Alice's work I therefore need to design and create a website for her.
I will consider what elements of work to showcase when creating a portfolio, what creative's within the industry are doing, how they are presenting themselves, what structure to follow and how this site can reflect and promote Alice as a creative.

Project Considerations

Viewing these sources and conducting research on illustration portfolios and relevant job roles, has helped provide me with an understanding of the field. And as a result devise a plan of how to successfully create an on-line portfolio for Alice.

Key Considerations

The website needs to be reflective of Alice and her work.
This on-line portfolio needs to showcase Alice's work.
As Alice has a keen interest in Social Media it is important to link this into the web design, this can be achieved by adding a twitter feed and Instagram feed to the site.
The target audience Alice is trying to appeal to is potential clients and those who are like-minded and interested in Illustration. The website therefore needs to provide details of Alice's skill-set through a downloadable CV.

Portfolio focus, Alice wants her work to be the main focus point of this one-page website.
Both Agreed on the importance of including her professional CV for possible clients and
employers to view.
