Background information
You went to the shops to buy some pencil. You bought "N" pencil, and they each cost $2. You bough "P" amount of pencils. And you also bough "C" amount of crayons which cost $3 per crayon

EQUATION

  • N = the amount of pencil you bough
  • C = the amount of crayon you bough
  • T = total coast
  • 2N + 3C = T

QUESTION

  • Pretend you bought 10 pencils and 15 crayons
  • So the sum will be like this...
  • Pencils - 2 × 10 = 20
  • Crayons - 3 × 15 = 45
  • Total - 20 + 45 = 65
