Alexander Graham Bell was born in March 3,1847.He died in August 2,1922.

The first bi-directional transmittion of clear speech by Bell was made on March 10,1876.

In 1879 Bell began making improvements in the graphophone .

The twisted pairs were invented in 1881by Alexander Graham Bell.

His research on hearing and speech further led him to experimented with hearing devices which eventually culminated in Bell being awarded the first U.S patent for the telephone in 1876.

The telephone is a source of entertainment and a vital resource to the illiterate as well as the academic elite. When the telephone was first introduced it could only be afforded by the rich as the materials needed to connection we're very expensive.Alexander's wish was to reduce the expense of the material so that the poorest man cannot afford to be without this telephone .
