I was born March 14th, 1897 in Ulm, Germany.
My father was Herman Einstein, a salesman and engineer who founded a company that manufactured electrical equipment.
My mother, the former Pauline Koch ran the house, and I had one sister name Maja, who was two years younger than me.
I was actually married twice. I was first married to Mileva Maric,
(1903-1919) and then to Elsa Einstein. (1919-1936)
I had a daughter with Mileva before we married. After marrying Mileva, we had two sons named Hans Albert Einstein, and Eduard. After marrying Elsa, we raised her two daughters from her first marriage, Margot and Ilse.
I came to America because my success in my theories caused a backlash. I soon became a hostile target for Nazis, and left to America a year before Adolf Hitler became chancellor of Germany.
I was a theoretical physicist, and mathematician.
I was a teacher and tutorer at secondary schools in Germany. I was also an assistant at the Swiss Patent Office, and a professor in Zurich.
Albert Einstein died April 18th, 1955 at the age of 76. He was widely considered one of the greatest physicist of all time.
