I was born at Ulm, in Wüttemberg, Germany. My birthday is March 14, 1879.
Known For
I'm well-known for creating the theory of relativity, or E=MC2. I determined that the laws of physics are the same for all non-accelerating observers, and that the speed of light in a vacuum was independent of the motion of all observers.

Fun Facts
I've also received honorary doctorate degrees in medicine, science, and philosophy from several American and European universities. I gained the Copley Medal of the Royal Society of London in 1925, and the Franklin Medal of the Franklin Institute in 1935.
Relationships
I married Mileva Maric in 1903, she birthed my two sons and my daughter. In 1919, my marriage with Mileva 'dissolved,' but in the same year, I married my cousin Elsa Löwenthal. She later died in1936, and I died on April 18, 1955 in New Jersey.
