DO YOU WANT YOUR AIR TO BE POLLUTED?

• Burning fossil fuels, humans pump CO2 into the atmosphere. Fortunately, plants and ocean waters gather it in. But what if this great recycling system went awry?

PROBLEMS WITH AIR POLLUTION

• Can cause diseases and could kill many plants and animals.
• Young and elderly are most affected by the air pollution.
• It contributes to the depletion of the ozone layer.
• This means air pollution needs to stop it can harm or even kill people.

MORE PROBLEMS WITH AIR POLLUTION

• Air pollution often has long-term health impacts that build-up slowly over time.
• Air pollution will remain a serious problem in China as long as coal continues to be the country's major energy source.

SOLUTIONS

• Stop burning fossil fuels
• Start using bikes or solar powered cars.
• Stop polluting the air with dangerous chemicals
• Stop using gas for motored powered vehicles

WHAT IS BEING DONE.

• What I think can be done to stop air pollution is to shut down factory's that contain smoke.
• Also use less gas powered cars.

• the government has mandated several devices catalytic converters for cars and trucks and soon diesel vehicles, as well. also the government mandates smoke stack scrubbers for certain industries.
• One of the laws should be a limiting use of factorys

• the government is also mandating and the public is requiring vehicle manufactures to produce more fuel economic vehicles, as well as, gasoline diesel alternatives

WHAT CAN ONE PERSON DO TO HELP?

• Do not litter
• They can not use a gas powered car.
• They could also try not to smoke.

• They could pick up trash on the road or sidewalk
• They could put up signs to tell people to stop using gas powered cars.
• Also try and make stores stop selling cigarettes

SUMMARY

• I think they should stop this type of pollution cause it can destroyer the ozone layer.
• This is bad cause the ozone layer keeps in oxygen for us to breathe and live.
• We can stop this by not littering pick up trash and stop smoking
• For my final suggestion is for us to have more solar powered cars.
• If we can all manage to do this we can beat air and water pollution.
