Addiction is when you try something, then get hooked on it. Even though addiction sometimes seems like bad habits, there is a difference. When you're addicted to something, you're unable to stop. As for habits, if you put your mind to it you can stop.

SOME SYMPTOMS OF ADDICTION ARE...

  • Behavior changes and or aggression
  • Dilated pupils
  • Changes in appetites

Alcoholism
When you struggle from alcoholism you struggle to put down your drink. You constantly are intoxicated, which can lead to some very scary things.

SIDE EFFECTS ARE...

  • Black outs
  • Impulsive behavior
  • Nausea or vomiting
  • Slow or delayed reactions

When you are constantly intoxicated, you can start having some changes in mood, and becoming more aggressive. Alcohol has been a factor in a whooping 40% of crimes across the U.S.A.

Alcoholism can cause family problems too! When you are intoxicated, people tend to be more abusive, hurting other people, and sometimes even family members.

A very scary topic is drunk driving. When someone is drunk, and make the decision to drive, which is illegal, many times there reactions are slowed, causing them to crash and kill innocent people.
