ANIMAL ADAPTATIONS

PHYSICAL ADAPTATIONS

  • Are body structures find, and consume food
  • Defend itself, and reproduce there species
  • Helps the animal to survive in its environment
  • Camouflage (use of the colours in its surounding
  • Mimicry (looking or sounding like another organism)

PHYSICAL ADAPTATIONS

  • Chemical defences (like venom ink or spray)
  • Body coverings and parts (claws, beaks, feet, armour plates and more)
  • Two types of physical adaptations. Structural, and physilogical adaptations.
  • Structual means you can see it, physiological means you cant see it.

BEHAVIOURAL ADAPTATION

  • Helps animals respond to new life needs
  • It is an animals actions (each organism has a different way)
  • Its divided into to parts, instinctive (natural reaction and learned reactions)
  • Instinctive behaviours (Happen naturally and dont need to be learned)
  • Learned behaviours (Has had experience and only able to be passed on to the next gen by teaching)
