God made the universe with no plants so he made it rain

HE THEN TOOK SOME SOIL AND FORMED A MAN. THE MAN WAS PLACED IN THE GARDEN OF EDEN

GOD ALLOWED THE MAN TO EAT FROM ANY TREE

Except for the tree of knowledge.

God then made animals and birds so the man wasn't lonely and Adam ( the man ) could name the new animals

God put the man into a deep sleep, took one of his ribs and formed a woman.

They were naked but didn't feel embarrassed

The snake tricked the woman into eating the fruit from the tree of knowledge, and gave Adam the fruit too

The snake was punished by God. From now on the snake had to crawl on his belly and have to eat dust.

God punished the woman by increasing the pain of pregnancy and giving birth.

God put the ground under a curse making them have to work hard all their life. Weed and thorns would grow out of the ground

Adam named his wife Eve, God made Adam and Eve clothes.

Then God sent them out of the Garden of Eden and protected the tree of life which makes you immortal.

Eve gave birth to two sons. Her eldest son Cain and her youngest Abel.

PURPOSE: To show everything has consequences no matter what and if a good deed is done, good things happen to the person who performs them.
