WHAT IS ACID RAIN
Acid rain is rain that is very acidic. It is acidic because of sulfur dioxide getting into the atmosphere.

WHERE DOES IT COME FROM?
It comes from to much CO2 getting into the air. CO2 gets into the air from factories that burn fossil fuels

Why is acid rain a problem?

  • It can kill wildlife like plants and animals 
  • I can cause health problems in people 
  • It can be extremely harmful to forests 
  • It can damage streams and lakes
  • It can damage buildings and sculptures

SOLUTIONS
A good solution for stopping acid rain is to find an alternative energy source to use and stop burning coal.

How Much Of The Problem Can We Solve?
We can not solve all of the problem because CO2 comes out of volcanoes and we cant stop them

How Long Will It Take To Fix The Problem?
It will take a long time to find an alternative energy source and put it to work.
