Rebuilding
Reconstruction started April 27, 2006 and will finish in late 2014. It is estimated that it cost $3.9 billion dollars on reconstruction.
Who
As you may know Al-Qaeda was responsible for destroying the twin towers 13 years ago, now David Childs is charge of rebuilding them. David is a former chairman of an architectural firm called Skidmore, Owings & Merril. He is best known for his redesign of the Twin Towers.
As we said before, the rebuilding began April 27, 2006 and is expected to finish in the late 2014. It will have 109 floors and 71 elevators/lifts. It also cost about $3.9 billion dollars.
It will be located at 285 Fulton Street, Manhattan, New York City, New York, United States
The World Trade Center is important because it will enable more people to have jobs.
