Where I come from
I grew up in Minnesota on a farm, riding horses and running around outside with my two sisters. I am the middle daughter of three.
Where I am
I graduated from Westmont College in 2016 with my B.A. in Communication Studes and now live in Carpinteria while I pursue my single subject teaching credential in secondary English.
Why I want to teach...
The education I have received is such an amazing gift and I fully believe that I am called to pass it on. I intend to labor over becoming the best teacher I can be. I want to honor my past teachers and respect my future students.
My Senior Capstone Project titled "Christian or Crossfit:A Rhetorical Analysis of the use of Religious Rhetoric within the Crossfit Community" was presented at the 2016 Research Symposium
While I miss the Comm. Studies department, I am absolutely loving the credential program!
