Should History become an elective? In my opinion the answer is no.History should stay a class because of its importance to Americas future.History teaches us about the mistakes that previous leaders and colonist have made. History teaches us these mistakes so that we would know in the future not to do them.So if History became an elective that means that less and less people will know what to do and what not to do in the future.
