I is for ill-educated
The people in the story have little to no education. School is all about learning meaningless facts instead of gaining actual knowledge.

J is for Justice
Many people in the book think that banning books is justice. They wanted to ban the books because they created to much emotion and required thinking.

K is for Kerosene
Kerosene is what the firefighters pour over the houses they are about to burn. Houses are burned when it is discovered that they are hiding books, which are illegal to possess.

L is for life
It seems like no one values life in the book. One of the kids ways of entertaining themselves is to play games that are deadly and result in many deaths. Also, the adults take pills for an escape.

M is for Mildred
Mildred is Guy Montag's wife in the book Fahrenheit 451. She spends more time watching tv than with him. She doesn't even remember where the they met.

N is for No Love
Mildred and Montag do not have a good relationship. It seems as though they don't love each other at all. Neither of them remember where they met.

O is for Opposition
Some people oppose the no books law. Montag and Beatty both like books and read.

P is for Personality
The people in the story have little to no personality. Everyone just does and believes what they are told.

Q is for Quarell
There are many different conflicts throughout the story. There is also a war going on during the story.
