Common people had no freedom, they couldn't be idle, neither could they travel on roads.

Also common people had groups/units. In each group or unit you had a job. You would have to do your job otherwise you could be killed.

Once a women and man got married, what ever job they gave their child, the child would have that job for the rest do their life.

All commoners except for craftsmen didn't live in the city, the lived in a hut in a field. Their homes had no windows the only way to leave was the front door. Inspectors came in and checked to see if they were in their house when they should be.

Yes, commoners did have a tax on food they kept. You know incas didn't use money they used tax in labor.
