AGRICULURAL ADJUSTMENT ADMINISTRATION

The Agricultural Adjustment Administration was established on May 1933.

The purpose of the AAA was to reduce crop surplus, and raise the value of crops effectively.

The AAA benefitted farmers by reducing production of staple crops, raising farm prices and encouraging more diversified farming.

Some accomplishment of the agricultural adjustment administration was the farmers got hope and joined local committees to get their voices heard.

The AAA is still in effect today. They still do the the same jobs but not as efficiently.
