In my opinion going to Mars is a bad idea for these reasons with current technology there is no way to return and it costs to much money.

First,going to Mars would be a bad idea because there is no way to return from Mars.If there is not the correct technology that means astronauts would die and would not be able to communicate.

Next,another reason why it would be a bad idea going to Mars is because it costs about 2 billion dollars to go to Mars.2 million dollars is a lot of money so instead of wasting money going to Mars.We can waste 2 billion dollars on fixing repairs that our city needs.

People might argue that going to mars would be a good idea to go to Mars.They will say it would be a good idea because how about if we destroy this planet we can move over there but the reality is that if there is not the correct technology to come back there is no way you would come back and because some people wouldn't be able to pay 2 billion dollars to go to Mars.
