LIFE EXPECTANCY

  • How long someone is expected to love if death rates remain unchanged

That Australia has the third lowest life expectancy of men at 80.1 when compared to other developed countries such as 79.8 in Luxembourg and Noway

Mortality in this chart shows that males have a lower life expectancy compared to females

PREVALENCE

  • Number or proportion of cases of a particular disease or condition present in a population at a given time

That Australia has the third highest prevalence rate at 67.4 when to other developed countries such as the UK at 63.3 and Ireland at 46.6

That diabetes is highest in men aged between 65-75 at 20% when compared to women in the same age group at 11%

UNDER-FIVE MORTALITY RATE(MALE)

  • Australia in comparison to other developed countries, it fairs well as it just under UK with 4.2.
  • This indicates how developed Australia is, to similar countries much like it.

UNDER-FIVE MORTALITY RATE(FEMALE)

  • Under-Five Mortality Rate for women is almost identical to the statistics of men.
  • In comparison to other developed countries, it is leading in it's category.

Sex: women have a higher chance of breast cancer

Eating habits: not enough enough food may lead to death
Sun protection: poor sun protection may lead to cancer which may lead to death

Level of Education: low level of education can lead to making wrong life decisions
SES: low level income can results in lower life expectancy

Physical Environment
Access to Education: no access can lead to making poor life decisions
Access to clean water: clean water can result in higher life expectancy.
