A CHRISTMAS CAROL

FRED

  • Stave 1: Fred was persistent in trying to get him to have Christmas spirit
  • Stave 3: Fred was telling his family how he felt bad for Scrooge
  • Stave 5: Scrooge went to visit Fred on Christmas and was happy to see everyone and was being very friendly

THE CRATCHIT'S

  • In the third stave, the Cratchit's toast to Scrooge
  • They call him "The Founder of the Feast"
  • Mrs. Cratchit calls Scrooge an odious, stingy, hard, and unfeeling man.
  • Scrooge gives Bob a raise in the fifth stave and assists his struggling family

THE FIRST SPIRIT

  • Scrooge was being taken home by his sister who said their father is kind now
  • He visits the Fezziwig's where he is happy and is dancing
  • He visits to where Belle and him are breaking up because he is too selfish

BELLE

  • In the first Stave it shows Belle and Scrooge breaking up.
  • She tells Scrooge that she hopes he finds pain in the memory of his past with her
  • By the end of the second stave, it shows Belle married with a child to show Scrooge what he's missed out on

THE SECOND SPIRIT

  • The second spirit took Scrooge to see Christmas Present
  • He shows Scrooge how happy everyone is without him
  • He also shows Scrooge how the Cratchit's suffer

THE THIRD SPIRIT

  • The third spirit takes Scrooge to a funeral
  • There is pretty much no one there
  • Everyone talks about keeping the mans things
  • Scrooge finds out that it is him that is dead

MARLEY

  • Marley was Scrooges old business partner
  • Scrooge and Marley were best friends
  • After Marley dies Scrooge becomes bitter and has even less friends

THE FEZZIWIGS

  • The fezziwigs were a family that Scrooge used to work for
  • In Stave 2, Scrooge spends his Christmas with them
  • Scrooge is having a good time dancing with them and is actually having fun
