Reasons You Might Use This Strategy
- You want your students' writing to stay on topic
- You want a creative way to share information
- You want your students' writing to have variety
- You want your students to have fun with their writing!
How To Begin
- Pick a familiar book or experience
- Start with a small number of letters (a b c)
- Write the title at the top of the page
- Write A, B, C, etc. in downward fashion
- Write a sentence starting with a word that begins with A.
