If you're a fan of fried chicken, we asked you to share your best tricks for getting free food and discounts at the fast-food chain. You'll need to download the Colonel's Club, a free rewards app from KFC, in order to get some of the advice.
If you achieve specific requirements, the loyalty program offers freebies, and we explain below just how you might get them. However, there are other methods to earn money off at the 2900 locations of the chicken business if you don't want another app taking up space on your phone. Although they are not promoted on their website, KFC France Prices are the same as those in the UK.
To find out how consumers may save the most money, we talked with members of the deal-hunting community, money-saving blogger Claire Roach of Daily Deals, and KFC itself.
Free delivery of KFC
KFC delivery orders have been available to Deliveroo users for some time. However, the app costs £2.50 for delivery, £3.75 for small orders (orders under £5), and 50p for service, for a total of £6.75. Now that KFC is available on JustEat with free delivery and no minimum expenditure, there is a method to avoid the fees. On lazy days when you don't feel like leaving the home, it's ideal.
Warning: Prices on the app are exaggerated; for example, a 14-piece Bargain Bucket costs £20.99 on the app but just £16.49 in-store. Therefore, if you want to save even more money, it is preferable to go to your local store.
Chicken Tuesdays
Customers can get nine pieces of Original Recipe Chicken on the Bone for £5.99 on Tuesdays only. It is a significant save of £9.58 since that quantity of chicken would typically cost £15.57. However, you only have one more Tuesday to take advantage of the deal as it is only valid until March 5.
Students get free meals
If they download the KFC app, students often get freebies and discounts. Currently, if you buy £3 or more, you'll get a complimentary snackbox worth £1.99. All you have to do is have the cashier see the offer on the app. However, Colonel Club offers are often not accepted at service stations along highways.
Deals in the Sun
There is now another compelling incentive to purchase The Sun, not that we're prejudiced. There are often KFC coupons in the newspaper that might save you money. Members of the Latest Deals community reported finding coupons for two pieces and fries for £2.49 (normally £5.18, saving £2.69) and a Mini Fillet Burger for £1 (saving 49p).
Obtain new fries
There's a way to get freshly prepared fries at KFC without spending any more money. Simply ask the cashier to create a new batch of your 99 cent fries without salt for you. Salt may always be added afterwards. Last year, the business modified the formula for its fries, but not everyone like them.
Free food
You can get a free snack worth up to £2.99, including a normal popcorn chicken, by using the KFC app to collect stamps on purchases. Seven stamps must first be gathered, however. For every £3 you spend, you get one stamp; for every £15 you spend, you get two stamps. If you do get seven stamps, there's a possibility you'll want to hold onto them in case you find an even better offer.
Discount for service members
You may get a 10% discount at KFC if you are a veteran or are currently serving in the military. However, you'll require a Defense Privilege Card, which is akin to the Blue Light Card and provides discounts to those working in the NHS and emergency services. At this time, KFC does not provide a discount to Blue Light Card users. A Defense Privilege Card may be applied for online.
Gain £5 off
You might get £5 off your subsequent KFC order if you accumulate enough stamps on the Colonel's Club rewards app. However, you must first acquire 11 stamps, which will set you back a minimum of £33. The cashier at a branch will need to see your stamps before you may get free meals worth £5. Using their online shop discovery feature, you may locate the KFC location closest to you.
Other companies besides KFC also give out free stuff when you join up for their applications, such Greggs and GBK. Check out our guide for even more information on how to earn free meals at different fast-food restaurants. 6,000 free Gregg’s sausage buns are being distributed by Deliveroo today, but only in London.
