ABBA were a Swedish pop group formed in Stockholm. ABBA became one of the most commercially successful acts in the history of popular music, topping the charts worldwide. They won the Eurovision Song Contest 1974 at the Dome in Brighton, UK, giving Sweden its first triumph in the contest, and were the most successful group ever to take part in the competition.

ABBA sold over 300 million albums and singles worldwide
A few of my favorite songs are dancing queen, and Mamma Mia.

ROLLING STONES

A FAMOUS BAND

After conquering the heartland with their massive North American Zip Code stadium tour, the Rolling Stones will head to Latin America for the first time in a decade. The America Latina Olé stadium tour begins in Santiago on Feb. 3 and will make stops in Buenos Aires, Montevideo, Rio De Janeiro, São Paulo, Porto Alegre, Lima, Bogotá, and wrapping March 14 in Mexico City.

Zip Code, which took the bands to stadiums in rarely-played markets across North America, was an unqualified blockbuster and one of the biggest tours of the year, grossing $109,714,026 at the box office from 628,733 tickets sold to 14 shows reported to Billboard Boxscore. Since reuniting for their 50th anniversary shows in late 2012, the Stones have been on a ferocious roll, with two runs through America (50 & Counting in 2013 and Zip Code), and trips across Europe, the Middle East and the Pacific Rim (’14 On Fire). In this period the Stones have churned out some $400 million in box office, selling 2.5 million tickets to 57 shows, according to Boxscore, primarily in arenas and stadiums interspersed with the odd festival appearance.

THE BEETLES

When the Beatles’ Apple label released “1,” in November, the group’s most ardent fans were underwhelmed. This collection of 27 chart-toppers was the latest of several compilations of hits, and with more interesting projects on hold—long-awaited video releases of “Let It Be” and the 1965 Shea Stadium concert, among them—“1” seemed the epitome of uncreative marketing. As it turned out, the disc sold more than 30 million copies, making it the best-selling album of the decade, and as of February, according to Billboard, it was still selling more than 1,000 copies a week.

BEE GEES

The Bee Gees were a pop music group formed in 1958. The group's line-up consisted of brothers Barry, Robin, and Maurice Gibb. The trio were successful for most of their decades of recording music, but they had two distinct periods of exceptional success: as a popular music act in the late 1960s and early 1970s, and as prominent performers of the disco music era in the late 1970s. The group sang recognisable three-part tight harmonies; Robin's clear vibrato lead vocals were a hallmark of their earlier hits, while Barry's R&B falsetto became their signature sound during the late 1970s and 1980s. They wrote all of their own hits, as well as writing and producing several major hits for other artists.

FULL HOUSE

Full House ran for eight seasons and was one of the few primetime tv shows to have more than 190 episodes. Early in its run, Full House received awful reviews for being too "cheesy," but it still became a popular favorite with audiences, even as the reviews remained negative throughout its run. Set in San Francisco, this is a show about a very loving family headed by Danny Tanner, who became a single father when his wife, Pam Tanner, was killed in a car accident. Pam's brother Jesse, and Danny's best friend Joey Gladstone moved into the house to help Danny raise his three daughters D.J., Stephanie, and Michelle. Although Full House ended in 1995, with syndication, kids are still growing up with the Tanners just like millions did when the show first started. First Telecast: September 22, 1987 Last Telecast: May 23, 1995 Episodes: 192 Color Episodes

Gilligan's island aired from September 26, 1964 and after three seasons stopped on my birthday, April 17. (1967)

While watching GILLIGANS island, I realized that skipper was indeed crazy, and there was quite a few mistakes with the scenery.
