CARBOHYDRATES

  • Carbohydrates give your body energy.
  • The simplest are sugars, such as glucose, fructose, sucrose and lactose.
  • Complex carbohydrates, like starch, are made up of lots of sugar molecules put together.

Some foods that have carbohydrates are starches(bread,potatoes),etc.

FATS

  • Fats store energy, they insulate us and protect our vital organs.
  • They help proteins do their jobs

Some foods that have healthy fats are olive oil, Avocado, salmon, tuna, etc.

VITAMINS

  • Keeps skin, bones, hair, brain, muscles, blood, etc healthy.
  • Helps prevent disease. And heal faster.

Some foods that have vitamins are milk, eggs, green foods, orange foods, and lots more.

PROTIENS

  • important for having strong and healthy bones, muscles, cartilage, skin, and blood.
  • The body needs relatively large amounts of it.

Some foods that have proteins are meat, fish, dairy products, and nuts.

MINERALS

  • Your body needs large amounts of minerals to grow and stay healthy.

Some foods that have minerals are dairy products, dark green leafy vegetables, orange vegetable.

WATER

  • Water helps keep your body at a good temperature.
  • It helps feed your body,
  • It helps rejuvenate your body.
  • Water helps move other nutrients around your body.

Some things that have water in them are fruits, vegetables, water and most other liquids with also contribute to your body in a way similar to water.
