Carbohydrates give your body energy.
The simplest are sugars, such as glucose, fructose, sucrose and lactose.
Complex carbohydrates, like starch, are made up of lots of sugar molecules put together.

Fats store energy, they insulate us and protect our vital organs.
They help proteins do their jobs

Helps prevent disease. And heal faster.
