Welcome to my student led conference! I've been working hard on subjects that involve projects and study and I want to share them with you. Once you get a better idea of my accomplishments this 9 weeks, I'd like to share some goals I have for the rest of the school year!
In science, we had a project called “The Science Scoop.” Everyone in the class drew a card for a different project. Some of them involved conducting an experiment, creating a 3-D scientific model of something that had to do with something in the chapter, or making a food involved activity. My project was called “Absolutely Techifying.” I had to make a giant fake smartphone, and put on fake apps that have to do with the chapter. For example, we were learning about cells, so I made a microscope app. I really enjoyed the project.
This is my latest writing project. I put a lot of work and thought into this assignment. I checked my grammar and sentence construction. The next time there is a big writing project, I may want to work a little faster.
This is my latest math quiz. I checked over each of the answers on this math quiz. I practiced and studied, and I know my times tables. I could improve by studying more.
The high holidays are the first few holidays in the Jewish year. The high holidays are Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, Sukkot, and Simchat Torah. On the orginizer there are different categories, and then there were the holidays, and in class we had to fill out something about each holiday that had to do with the category. For example, in the number category, for Rosh Hashanah I did 2 because the holiday lasts two days. For Yom Kippur, I did 4 because there are four services on Yom Kippur. For Sukkot, I did 7 because there are seven ushpizin. For Simchat Torah I did 7 because when you dance with the torah, you go around in seven circles.
