THE THREE TYPES OF MATTER

  • A gas is a type of air that is called helium (HEE lee uhm). Helium is example of a gas that is used to inflate balloons
  • A liquid is oxygen that we drink. A liquid is used to make milk to sodas. Liquids dont take up a definite shape because its particles move.

HOW PARTICLES MOVE

  • A gases particles move faster because they spread apart
  • A liquids particles move slow because they are packed less tightly than solids
  • The solids particles are packed together to keep the shape of the object. When a solid hits a hard surface it will make a dint in the odject.
