  • making fun of human problems with humor to make a serious point

  • George Orwell produces satire about the
  • Paroles by comparing them to animals
  • "Left to themselves like cattle loose upon the plains of Argentina
  • They reverted to a style of life that appeared to be natural to them"

EXAMPLE 2

  • Even tho they are thought of as animals
  • It is said " the power is in the paroles"

EXAMPLE 3

  • O brian becomes crazy when power is given.
  • This shows how power makes it easier for him
  • To do what he has to do

  • Making fun of a possible totalitarian government style

  • Are satire in themselves suggesting quality but in reality being
