Entertainment
In the 1930s for entertainment people would listen to upbeat music, watch movies, and go to free shows or concerts, due to the lack of money because of the Great Depression. They also enjoyed attending baseball games.
Chores
Many families spent there time working on the farms, cleaning homes, and taking care of there children(8-10). The families had to feed the livestock, milk the cows, and wash clothes by hand.
Daily life
During this time we were in the Great Depression. Unemployment was high and income was low for families. Families could not afford much so they would grow there own food.
School
Many children didn't have the opportunity to attend school, they had to stay at home and work on the farm.
Food
Due to the Great Depression, many families grew there on food. They ate vegetables, such as corn, potatoes, tomatoes,okra, and peas.
